Our Story
Above All Roofing & Construction was built by people who have been in this industry long enough to know what is wrong with it β and stubborn enough to believe it can be fixed. Our co-owner and CEO, Kaitlyn Kelsey, helped grow multiple successful roofing companies before founding AARC. Our co-owner and sales manager, TJ Wilson, spent nearly a decade on roofs and more than fifteen years working with every major exterior component you can bolt to a house.
Along the way, both of them watched homeowners get pressured into contracts they did not understand, adjusters deny claims that should have been paid, and crews disappear the moment a warranty question came up. They decided they were done watching.

Our Mission
We are a full-service exterior contractor based in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, with a second operations hub in New Bern. From those two locations, our teams serve homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients across Raleigh, Durham, Apex, Holly Springs, the greater Triangle region, and the entire coastal region of Eastern North Carolina.
Whether the job is a small shingle repair on a ranch in Clayton, a full replacement of a standing-seam metal roof on a coastal home in New Bern, a TPO membrane on a commercial property in downtown Raleigh, or a full-home siding and window package in Durham β the same team, the same standards, and the same ownership show up on every project.
We are certified by the two largest shingle manufacturers in North America β Owens Corning and CertainTeed β which gives our clients access to the strongest extended warranties in the industry. We are fluent in the language of insurance claims after more than a decade working hand-in-hand with adjusters, and we do not disappear after the final invoice is paid. Co-Owner & CEO
TJ Wilson
CEO
TJ Wilson leads AARC’s sales operations across North Carolina with nearly nine years of roofing experience and more than fifteen years in exterior siding and full-home construction. He has held virtually every role in this industry β from installer to superintendent to sales leader.
That hands-on background is his superpower. When TJ inspects a property, he is not reading from a script. He is drawing on literal years of having installed, repaired, and replaced every component he is looking at β and that allows him to diagnose issues from the foundation to the roofline in a single walkthrough.
TJ is the person who will meet you on-site, walk the roof personally, and deliver a written estimate that reflects what your property actually needs β not what generates the largest invoice.

Kaitlyn Kelsey
COO
As co-owner and COO, Kaitlyn Kelsey is the driving force behind AARC’s day-to-day operations and long-term vision. Before founding Above All Roofing & Construction, Kaitlyn helped build and scale multiple successful roofing companies β gaining firsthand experience with every operational lever that separates a contractor that lasts from one that does not.
Kaitlyn personally oversees project scheduling, internal operations, client communications, and financial management at AARC. She is the reason phones get answered, estimates go out on time, crews are paid fairly, and clients receive the follow-through that many roofing companies promise but few deliver.
Kaitlyn is also the first person many insurance clients interact with after a storm. Her fluency in the claims process β combined with her ability to translate contractor jargon into plain English β has become one of AARC’s most recognizable trademarks.

Coastal Region Specialist
A proud United States Navy Veteran, Devin leads AARC’s coastal division out of our New Bern office. He provides on-the-ground support across the coastal region β walking roofs with adjusters, overseeing crew progress, and ensuring every coastal project meets the exacting installation standards that hurricane-prone environments demand.
Devin’s specialty is FORTIFIEDβ’ roofing systems β the voluntary hurricane-resistance standard that many NC coastal insurers now reward with substantial premium discounts. His military background translates directly into the reliability and attention to detail that coastal clients immediately recognize.

Stephen
Project Manager & Restoration Specialist
Stephen joined AARC in 2025, bringing more than a decade of hands-on experience installing premium slate roofing systems β one of the most technically demanding specialties in the industry. As his career progressed, he transitioned into sales and project management, giving him a full-stack understanding of both craftsmanship and client advocacy.
Stephen is known for his professionalism, honesty, and unflappable calm under pressure. If your project has moving pieces β an insurance claim, a manufacturer rebate, an HOA approval, a permit pull β Stephen keeps everything synchronized and keeps you informed.

Exterior Project Specialist
Robbie joined AARC in 2025, bringing a unique combination of canvassing, window installation, and exterior sales experience. He has been on both sides of the front door β the person knocking, and the person installing the product β and that firsthand experience shapes the way he approaches every inspection.
Robbie’s technical understanding allows him to identify details frequently overlooked: failing J-channel, cracked fascia, undersized gutter outlets, improperly flashed window headers, and early signs of moisture intrusion behind siding. If you’re considering a full-exterior project that includes windows or siding, Robbie is very likely the specialist who will walk your home.

We schedule a free, no-obligation property inspection within 1β3 business days. We walk the roof, inspect gutters and fascia, photograph everything, and deliver a written report. No pressure, no "today only" pricing games.
Line-Item Estimate
A detailed written estimate with exact materials, colors, warranties, and timelines. You see what we see, in writing. Reviewed in person if you prefer.
Insurance Coordination
If storm-related, we meet your adjuster on-site at no additional charge. We supply Xactimate scope documentation β the same software insurance companies use themselves.
Scheduling & Materials
Once approved, we order materials, schedule your project, and pull permits where required. Typical lead: 2β4 weeks. Emergency: 24β72 hours.
Professional Installation
In-house crews only. Landscaping protected, magnetic nail sweepers deployed, cleanup daily. Most residential replacements complete in one day.
Walk-Through & Warranty
Final walkthrough with you, final magnetic sweep, final photos, and delivery of your workmanship warranty plus manufacturer warranty registration β in a project folder.
